Summary
A baculovirus in the porporo stem-borer, Sceliodes cordalis, is recorded for the first time in New Zealand. The nucleocapsids are 240 x 35 nm and are shown to be multiply embedded in cuboidal polyhedra. The virus was unable to cross-infect several other lepidopteran species.
