- Reappraisal is made of the New Zealand Cicindelidae all recently placed in the endemic genus Neocicindela Rivalier. N. spilleri sp. nov. and N. perhispida giveni subsp, nov. are described. N. latecincta (White) is considered to be a full species, not a subspecies of N. tubereulata (Fabr.).
