- This list is compiled of all the known historical and contemporaneously documented floral species observed in any part of the area known presently as the Kāpiti District. The district is comprised of five Ecological Districts, the Foxton Ecological District is the largest represented and therefore, all available known botanical lists from it including those outside the Kāpiti District have been used to contribute to this compilation.
