- Water samples for the trace metals: Hg, Cd, Mn, and Fe were collected, under contamination-free conditions, in Doubtful and Bradshaw/Gaer Sounds. Surface transects and hydrocasts were obtained from the center of both fiords. Similar trace metal trends were observed for both basins
